The MAHE Student Research Forum (MAHESRF) is a vital student-led body operating under the guidance of the university's Directorate of Research. Established in October 2013, the forum acts as a unified platform across all campuses to cultivate scientific inquiry and collaborative networking among undergraduate students, postgraduates, and doctoral scholars. The forum plays a key role in organizing premier annual academic gatherings, including the Manipal Research Colloquium (MRC 2026) and the Interdisciplinary Conference on Healthcare and Technical Research (ICHTR) which has been expanded this year to include a broader scope of management, humanities and law (ICHTMR). By facilitating mentoring partnerships, hosting skill-development workshops, and guiding students to apply for external fellowships—such as the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) short-term studentships—the forum equips young researchers with the essential tools to produce high-impact, internationally vetted publications.
